Imagine for a moment that the lighter you're using to fire up your next cigarette is home to far more than just wick and fluid ... According to the Qu'ran, two creations have free will: humans and Djinn ... Made of flameless smoke, Djinn can be good or evil. One might even take up residence in your Zippo -- any flick of which can change the world in a terrifying instant.

  • what exactly does it mean to say they are made if "smokeless flame"? They always are associated with smoke, so how is it smokeless?

  • @lilmagusXIII another term for 'smokeless flame' is 'plasma'.

  • @29DragonGirl Bartimaeus kicked ARSE, but I agree, he wasn't all bad. It was the magicians who I felt were truly evil.

  • Is this the Tobe Hooper movie?

  • @vgadallmann I'm pretty sure it's smokeless fire, as in they are constantly burning but there is no smoke.

  • @lilmagusXIII lightning ; Plasma

  • Djinn aren't all bad... I mean, look at Bartimaeus. That djinni is awesome! And he's not so bad really, he just acts like a tough guy =]

  • @vgadallmann Actually it is "smokeless flame" and not "flameless smoke". As the Holy Qur'an reveals, "He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery. And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire." ~ Ar-Rahmaan 55:15, 15

  • Yo how can i watch these movies.

  • @vgadallmann Well still though, what does that phrase mean? Since they also say scorching fire, I considered it the hottest part of a flame, where there is no smoke, when the fire is blue, therefore, the concept of Jinn associated with blue skin.
