The play "Le Roi Soleil" is a successful French musical about the life of Louis XIV. (*September 5, 1638 +September 1, 1715; from 1643-1715 King of France, known as the Sun King; French: le Roi Soleil). It premiered on September 22, 2005 at the Palais des Sports in Paris.
