Went to a Great Gatsby Gala and used your techniques. My kids said, "Ga Mom. You look so Goth." Thanks for the tutorial! It was fun!

wow ive recently watched nosferatu 1922 so i have an idea on what it may look like and i must say the make up is perfect here

awe that is so cute... my mothers maiden name was Laidy and my sisters and i have Lady Bugs on the top of our wrists.
Also very nice video,
Powder and cream based eyeshadow were common back in the 20-30s and that gave a shimmer look on film... if you were doing this for a photo you could use a dab of Vaseline on the lid for a traditional shine.

Which products do you recommend to buy from the drugstore to achieve a similar look? I mean like for the eyes,lips. Is cherry red lips too bright for the flapper look? I have a red chanel lipstick, but it is kind of on the cherry color side.Thanks.

Geez! When I first started watching I was thinking "where is she going with all that black eyeshadow". I was pleasently surprised with the results. Looked Great!
