The Crusades were in response to encroachment of Islamic Imperialistic forces upon lands which were all originally inhabited by 1st Jews & then Christians, upon which Christian Pilgrimage Trails were well established b4 the advent of Islam on the Arabian Peninsula. Btw, the Mediterranean is quite a distance from the Arabian Peninsula, isn't it? The only historical "truths" that are familiar to some of us are what we've been "taught" at our "public centers of indoctrination" aka PC propaganda.

All fine and good, but did not "western civilization" do anything at all to these forces you speak of to deserve their ill respect? I know this is all pretty vague, but as far as E vs W goes that's been going on long before America was around. Crusades come to mind. When all is said and done I still think that a non imperialistic foreign policy would hep reduce blowback, if not non blowback related "terrorism".

You leveled a specific charge in which you stated a belief that all our "current" troubles w/these terrorists stems from "CIA ops" & related "blow-back" emanating from them. I am not claiming that our nation is completely innocent in re to ill-conceived & or somewhat nefarious ops, however, the fact remains that these ideologues have been targeting all who represent "Western Civilization" since before our nation was even conceived. All should be made aware of the long history in re 2 this issue.

Simply google CIA and blowback. It is the CIA's own terminology for things that they agree are indeed reprisals for things they admit they have done..... so it goes to conclude, or at least wonder, what they are not admitting to and things that are likely blowback for these..... using opps in countries to stir a revolution, or overthrow a leader, put an American pupet leader in his place.

We could solve our "financial crisis" literally overnight, were we to 1) Stop all foreign aid to nations that burn our flag, attack our Embassies & kill &/or imprison our citizens 2) Immediately begin to extract, process & utilize our own more-than-abundant domestic energy resources & call an immediate halt to the $1 Billion per day that we now send to people who hate us 3) End entitlement programs for ALL who have never paid into "the system" & 4) Divest ourselves from subsidizing the UN

I do agree with you in regard to one detail--I would fully support a complete repeal of the NDAA & along with it I would suggest the summary closure of the following govt agencies: Dept of Energy, (Federal) Dept of Education, Dept of Commerce, IRS, Homeland Security, Dept of Transportation, etc. If we could (finally) secure our borders & call an immediate cease & desist to ALL immigration of Muslims w/the additional caveat that all currently here rec'g ANY sort of entitlement be shipped out . .
