www.aleutia.com/h3. Our newest PC, the H3 combines an AMD Sempron 140 (2.8GHz, 45W) with Nvidia 8200 onboard graphics and 4GB of RAM. Here it's running Ubuntu 9.04 and playing Big Buck Bunny at 1080p. For cooling we're using an Akasa AK-CC032 (where do they get these names?) which should theoretically work passively but as soon as you remove the 70mm fan the temp jumps into the 70s.

  • just to let you know, i believe the Nvidia X server is for just the graphics card/chip. So, the temps you were reading were for the GPU.
