  • I have wondered for years how to remove those pesky little push pins. Thanks!

  • @matdean2002ec np, glad to help!

  • i am trying to do this to a 2004 toyota tacoma. The original unit looks exactly like the one you pulled out, EXCEPT there's a huge black (power??) cable coming off the back and it can't be pulled out. Do i cut it?

  • @blorkensoft sounds like its probably the antenna wire? that would be my guess, check and see if it has a dot of solder holding it on, ive seen that done before

  • @RandomWeekendVideo hey man i was wondering if you really have to change the wiring harnest???

  • @MCORADO95 no, you could always just modify it

  • not to criticize your work, it is really good. one thing you forgot to mention though is to disconnect the battery before installing

  • 45 minutes well spent in my education. Thank you very much. Never seen the pop out doovalackies before and probably would have butchered them if I came across them

  • @ProtectABedTV I like Pioneer however in this case it was the customers choice not mine, although a good speaker.

  • @BadBrad9925 Yep same principle applies to every car, just some have some make specific parts and details.

  • @ghettohoopstar02 The wire that attaches to the head unit then attaches to the factory harness kit for the car which in this case is two separate plugs, so all three pieces are combined. The two pieces are the factory harness kit and can be found almost anywhere on the net these are Metra brand and from crutch field

  • @AtMPhrek Thanks for the comment, glad it helped you out!
