This is a really good lesson ---applicable to even a beginner. But it would be a great lesson if at the end you just synthesize everything you've gone over and play the entire intro in real time.

Very well explained !!
I'm a beginner and it's going to be a hell of a long time before I can play that correctly however you tought me how to and that's what I needed.
Many thanks.

This is a very good lesson but I was wondering if you simplified the G string D# whole step bends part of the lesson for the newer guitar player. The studio recording sounds like he is trying to get back to the root note or ? between the first couple of bends creating a complex timing which is hard to re create. Please comment. Thanks.

@13cats21 Mmmm. Good point. I suppose some slides may be an option instead of the bends, although many beginners find slides as tough as bends. I think Chuck's style of playing is very idiosyncratic, so many players play their "own version" of the intro, which is in the Rock n Roll spirit I suppose :) Hopefully this lesson will remind them of a few of the key phrases anyway. :)
