  • let my take my first comment back, unfortunately I agree with Queen, it is ashame we as black or African americans don't know our history or culture.

  • wow. Firstly, it was well put together. Secondly, it's mindboggling that many of my brothers and sisters are still "enslaved" mentally. Without History, destiny doesn't exist. So sad. It angers me when people, especially black people say, "Slavery happened so long ago; we need to get over it." Are you kidding??? I blame partly the education systems. They hardly teach African history in America today; what is taught, is very sugarcoated/screened.

  • We have too much self-hate within our own race. Light skin vs Dark skin, Black men vs Black women, African Americans vs Africans, Black on Black crimes needs to stop!!! At the end of the day we are still from the same race and have a common struggle. I know we as Africans in the diaspora lost their African history, culture, and native language, but at least take time on internet to learn about Africa. United we stand, divided we fall! If it wasn't for my African ancestors i would not be here.

  • This is why we are working and compiling as MUCH information as possible to provide to anyone willing to learn. There are currently 53 countries in Africa. In July, there will be 54. In Cameroon alone there are over 260 tribes. In Nigeria, over 360 tribes.....all having their own language. There is a way to educate and WE have to do it. An education system created by the oppressor will NEVER do that for us. We have to do it ourselves. We ARE doing it ourselves.

  • @moonstar7 not just the women men 2!!

  • @nasir89ah I wouldn't say WE because I know my history and I teach people to wake up, so please don't say WE don't know... great video

  • The second girl couldn't seem to really answer the question about what IS black culture? She just started talking about people imitating hip hop. Does she means hip hop is african american culture? The third girl's answer (Steacy) was typical of many black american's attitudes. I see what the guy in the video is trying to show. By the way african slave descendants are not only in America and Europe, but also in Latin America and the Middle East. The last girl's answer was the most sensible.

  • ha....... you should have called me and my friends we would have told you what the diaspora is. we also would have enlightened you of our appreciation of African culture

  • Ha Ha Ha! Yo my yung brother, this project of yours is on point. I know it can be heart breaking to listen to our sisters and brothers in all there ignorance, but you are doing what needs to be done, big ups! You the man for this job! I will support you to no end! Peace Love and Light!

  • Great Video! We need to be educated as a people...because we have not been properly educated about our history!!

  • ...AHHH...You are so right!! God I thought I was the only one!! ....we have a long way to go as a people...we need to be educated!
