Ok, It's not balut or a century egg, it's just boiled in tea, I'm sure it probably tastes different than a regular hard boiled egg but it's not disgusting...

Oh I miss Taiwan. I remember those. The scent of the eggs is the first thing that hits you when you walk into the store. I also remember 711 having really good Oden.
