sting made such a smart choice here.

that made my day. When sting said "mother" and "miss gradenko" as his fave police songs. hehehee..Mother is totally insane song. I dunno wat happen to andy when he wrote the song but he's really madd. And Miss Gradenko, was Stewart inspired by CIA espionage kinda thing? hehe...
-
he´s a genious, the two songs are not written by him, one is andy´s the other is stewart
-
sting gets way too much credit. copeland and summers are the backbone to this band.
-
"Gradenko" is a cool song, but I would have voted for "Bombs Away" as Stew's best. "Mother" is just insane.

I want to have seven million of Stewart Copeland's babies.

I like both the Police and Elvis Costello. I happen to prefer the Police, but I can respect someone who likes Elvis Costello better. But to say the margin between them is measured in CHARGED PARTICLES--wow, that, I must confess, is really saying something.

You obviously haven't listened to American Top 40 since 1983. Not that I suggest doing that, mind you but do some research before you post such an ignorant comment. You are ultimately saying that you prefer the number one hits of Timbaland, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, etc. If this IS the music you're into, well, that explains everything.

I think it's like you said "kissing up" or in Australia we'd say "sucking up" to get someone on side, at least that's how I interpret it but I could be wrong

I stand (or sit) corrected! Thanks, Ronny. By the way, what IS a crawler??? We don't use that word in Canada!
um,
none of these guys are dicks.
the whole "Sting's a dick!" vs. "Stewart's a dick!" schtick is a bit tired.
just groove on the music.
it's great stuff.
a great band full on non-dicks.

Are you kidding? I mean, I'll totally agree on the brilliance of Costello, but do you truly understand the impact and importance of this "two bit three piece pop band"? Copeland is on a very short list of the most technically gifted drummers in the world, and their collective prolific output should be a legacy to itself.
