Ugh! That was painful to watch! Not the lovely video (nice job, nephertiti77), but the young love that we all know ends in heartbreak. I found the Russian history piece interesting, seems so long ago, but also seems like no time has gone by.

@DoodyBugg Oh, me too. I was devastated. It's still sad, seeing these shots of happy they were and of Sergei playing with Daria. You can tell he really adored both of his girls. How sad it is for Daria to have not really known her father and for him to not see what a beautiful girl she grew up to become.

So sad and tragic knowing that he had less than two years to live when this was taped. Theirs was a love and a partnership so idyllic, it's heartbreaking that it ended so abruptly and all too, too soon. There never has been, nor will there ever be a pair to match them. The best. Ever.
