    This video was meant to be funny because it was taken out of context. He did say a few surprisingly rude things, but it just gave the impression that he's a serious old man who wants people to learn things instead of sugarcoating it and holding their hand.

    I agree why do that? Look at how kids are today.....confident sure, but dumber than a box of popsicle sticks! You can't solve problems or come to any kind of logical conclusion on confidence alone.

    There was one episode where Mr. Wizard asks the Indian kid "what friend are you gonna play this trick on?" and the kid mispronounces the name tom and says, " I'm going to show this to my friend TOME." and Mr. Wizard rolls his eyes and says "well when you show it to TOM he will be surprised."
