Far Cry 2: Helms Deep map (at noon)

(I noticed in my first vid that I couldn't see shit, because I made it during night (like in the movie). So here's the noon version!)

The map I made, based on Helms Deep. This is the first map I ever made (I know, it sucks.... I just couldn't use the editor) and one of my first vid's, so please don't be too hard on me! :(

In the first place I wanted to make Helms Deep as realistic as possible, but short after that, I realised it wouldn't be possible unless I would work for hours and hours! And I would have to do more research... So I decided to not be so strict with the pictures I used and the movie. So I created 2 glider platforms, created an extra wall from the main hall to the "Hornburg' and placed some mounted machine guns. I also put some carwrecks, a broken airplane, rocks, cars etc in the map to create some cover for the team spawning outside the fortress! I know the LotR fans won't forgive me that, but I hope you'll like it anyway. :)

Short said: a funny multiplayer map which looks a lot like Helms Deep, but still is useable for Far Cry 2 multiplayer.

I'm not really satisfied with my result, but who cares. It took me about 6 hours and I thought that was enough! :)

@xXE4GLEyEXx No man, I'm sorry. I didn't even dare to upload it for PC.. xD .. Like I said, this is my first map I ever made, and there are many faults in it. If I ever would upload it, I will redo the whole map. If you watch the video closely, you'll see many f*cked up stuff, cuz I couldn't work with the editor and I wasn't paying attention to details.

@calumknight That's why I ask people to read the description.

I put cars and rocks in the map to create cover for the team spawning outside the fortress. Otherwise, this map wouldn't be suitable for any gametype, because the other team could camp them all down.

@vcwsmit :D np i think this map is kinda cool :) i had the game for PC but only borrowed so i did not used the online side of it now im thinking on buying it for my PS3 because i think i like this game :D
