  • When I hear Rocky sing, I break out laughing. . it is SO superhuman that it almost seems impossible that anyone can sing like this. AMAZING !!

  • The pianist keeps rushing; when she hears Rocky sing his triplets, it makes her want to play her quarter notes faster. He is such a superb musician and technician that he manages to keep up with her!

  • what a great messa di voce in the end of the Aria!!!

  • pessima la pianista

  • I totally agree with Mr. Arsace, he has a great technique!!!...probably you can like or not the voice, but for sure you cannot say he is "un diletante"...it was Alfredo Kraus who emntion him as a superb Rossini tenor... you don't have to be yourself a grat "rosinian singer" to have an "expert ear" as he did. I liek very much this interpretation, and Mr. Blake's voice...BRAVO!!!

  • ugly voice, worst singer I've ever heard

  • @colino72 no, I was just wondering who you enjoy in this aria?

  • Do I have to have one?

  • @AleBro83 kraus divino lo fu di sicuro ma, a parte barbiere, non mi sembra sia famoso per i suoi ruoli rossiniani. che razza di paragone e`?

  • after reading this comment, I am interested in knowing, what tenor/performance of this aria is your favorite?

  • I agree. Ugly sound and overly showy is what I always think of him, and he seems to just LOVE himself. Phenomenal range and freedom, no doubt.

Irritating is my opinion (and it IS opinion, so folks, please don't tell me I am wrong because I am criticising your favourite tenor).

  • Tecnica inesistente??? Magari ci fossero dilettanti così in giro!
