I read that it's from volcanoes and geysers. Apparently, the warmer water in the ocean under the ice will sometimes make it through the ice and the cracks are from that and melting in the icy crust, because apparently all the lines and cracks are often changing with all the remelting of lines.There are so many theories, it's really still impossible at the moment to know for sure. It could totally still be the ocean's waves or Jupiter's gravity, I'm just throwing another idea out there...

actually the cracks are caused by the strong gravity of Jupiter.

Its ice with cracks, because an ocean exists under the ice, and apparently the waves make the ice crack.
