i wish Del Toro would've stayed on the project, he's one of the most creative and interesting filmakers out there. but then again who better to direct this than Jackson, the man who started it all? still, would've been interesting to see how Del Torro would've told the lord of the rings

@Pugiron Bro it only infringes on the integrity of the book if he appears inside the original story, I have a feeling that since there will be two movies that they are going to basically add a "bridge" to the end of it connecting the Hobbit to the Lord of the Rings. Have faith man, Peter Jackson absolutely knows what he is doing.
