Here is my journey through the lens of my camera of the events that took place over two days of celebration at Huyck Stadium in Lompoc.
I have always wanted to be a part of the Relay for Life since my Mother passed from cancer in 2001. An opportunity arose that I could not pass up. I was asked to donate one of my lightning photographs "Bolt Brothers" for a raffle at the Relay for Life in Lompoc, California. I was honored to even be asked and of course donated one.
I perused the Lompoc website and noticed that they did not have many photographs and decided to donate my time, not only for the Relay, but for myself too. This was truly inspiring and emotional.
If you know of anyone who has survived, passed or is going through cancer treatments I highly recommend getting involved in the Relay for Life. To find your local Relay go to...

...and take the journey.
Sorry people. Unfortunately WMG has disabled the audio. There are about 5 different tracks on this video which I don't believe WMG owns the rights to ALL of them. Soon YouTube will be silent!

Team Rocketeers loved your video! Thank you for taking the time to do this. What is the song you used in between Enya & Somewhere Over the Rainbow?

Thank you Rocketeers!! I loved being there. The song is from the soundtrack of Braveheart. Thank you also for commenting. You all worked very hard and should be proud of yourselves.

In memory of your Mother, Cathy, you have captured the essence of an experience that only those who have lived through it can convey in your very moving visual story-telling. I enjoyed your mini-movie immensely. I loved you progression throughout the day and the evening shots were really quite captivating with all of those lighted memorials lining the street. Thank you for sharing such an inspired event with us all. It felt almost like I was right there with you.
BRAVO! and 5*'s from me! Terri

Wow, Terri...what can I say. Thank you. I try to set the mood and go by how I felt at the time I was taking the photos. The music for this proved to be the hardest part. I almost didn't use any. I like the evening shots too. Especially the one where the people look ghostly. It gave me chills when I first saw it. Thanks again Terri, Cathy
