  • Yes it is apple cider vinegar. You could also make this with other fruit, such as pears!

  • I'm sorry that I haven't posted the final video yet. At the end of the vinegar making you will have a webby mass hanging out near the bottom of the liquid, and maybe some filmy stuff covering over the top. Take the top filmy stuff off and throw that away. Put a top on the jar and store it in the fridge and use as you would any other vinegar! The webby stuff at the bottom is the "mother" and you want to keep that. Good for you! :)

  • Scarlett I am sorry that I didn't see your question earlier. I think it does matter to use a glass jar or a ceramic crock could be ok.

  • Apple seeds do not contain arsenic. They do, however, contain cyanide. Within the overall construct of eating an apple, this is not dangerous for you. The amount in a seed is miniscule. You would have to collect a zillion apple seeds and eat them all in one sitting to be in danger.

The seed will be strained out of the vinegar after a day or two.

If it makes you feel better, of course you can just not put any seeds in. Personally, I am not worried about it at all. :)

  • @992kirky Applecidervinnegar cost a little more, but it's possible to get it cheap, if you look for it..I found some cheap organic, applecidervinnegar, over the internet. So it doesn't have to be expensive.

  • Expensive, where the heck do you live? Where I live a 1L jug of cider vinegar is like $3.50-$4.00

  • Hi, I find it way easier to make vinegar, after fermenting the Apple juice, beer etc. The first time I made cider vinegar was by using a cider kit, 23 litres. It was fast and easy. Once the cider was fermented the vinegar only took about 6 weeks. I have now made, cider, malt, lager, beer, peach wine, vinegars. I sort of look at everything. lol

  • is this apple cider vinegar please answer bye: D
