An open letter to thank CAD (California Association of the Deaf) for their corrective action, that of omitting 'deafhood' term from their by-laws, revised on 08/13/2011. They restored 'Deaf' and 'hard of hearing' back into the by-laws. However they fell short of meeting their legal obligations when they replaced every 'deaf' term with big "D", as in Deaf. It means they will only serve culturally "D" deaf people and dismiss the rest of the deaf people without identical culture values. It would be in violation of IRS regulation and in violation of their tax exempt agreement with IRS. C.A.D. still have more work to do to become inclusive and tolerant of deaf people in general.

Respond to this video... And Arezoo... I checked my DVTV to count how many people I blocked. The count is only 103. Your name is not there so you are not blocked. Now do your math and tell me the percentage of 103 out of 12,273 members. And you said I blocked "everybody". LOL. The only people I block are deafhood supporters who can't debate decently so they resort to foul language and anger without using their head. Simple as that. You didn't fall into that category. ; )

Respond to this video... one more thing Arezoo.... I never said anything about hating the deaf. I only talked about why we should respect ALL deaf people and not be focused on the big D deaf people. It's silly for big D deaf people to think they are better than the rest of deaf people just because they have culture and the rest of the deaf people don't. I want a level playing field for ALL deaf people. Now how is that message supposed to mean I hate deaf people?

@persianarezo0 Hey Arezoo. No I didn't block you. If I did you would not be able to make a comment under my vlog. I also did not block you at DVTV either. I block some people because they don't know how to have a healthy discussion. I don't have that problem with you or Shahram. So, when I bring an interesting subject up, you see it as causing problem? You think I hate the deaf people? If so, then you didn't understand this vlog. It's okay to agree to disagree. No need for anger. ; )

I am not from California, or member of CAD but it was good to know they deleted deafhood from the by-laws. Now, they used deaf with big "D" ... interesting!!!
