@gonzalez239 Analog seems to be better but if you don't have a nice sound card then maybe go with USB.

so im wondering if a USB headset is better than a normal MIC-in...btw i dont have a soundcard other than the one integrated on the motherboard

I'm on my 4th set of Logitech Clear Chat Wireless headphones, one the mic eventually failed, two I killed by accident. Wireless convenience (about 20 ft in reality, the advertised 30' is a best case scenario) it was a key choice for these, price and features were ok. Audio? picks up too much background for me. the more expensive plantronics one didn't have a quick mute button near as I could tell. For better recording quality I have an AudioTechnica AT2020USB which I'm very very happy with.

My headset is a Bush USB Headset it was £27 and it was more than worth it the sound is really clear in uk you can get it from argos.
