Magic (Black Magic) was our wonderful border collie puppy that didn't work out and we and she are extremely fortunate that Lawrence and Jodi at K9 Frisbee http://www.k9frisbee.com decided she would be right for their team of world champion frisbee dogs.

Her original name is Maggie Mae but Lawrence changed her name a couple of days after he adopted her. You can see some photos of her when we first got her http://www.pawspirit.com and she looked a little cross-eyed in the puppy photos but we weren't sure until she grew a little.

Magic is a very alpha female with amazing energy and although she was our 3rd border collie and we know the breed, she is nuclear and NEVER runs out of energy. She came from working parents so her herding instinct is extremely strong and she is such a loving dog, especially with young girls because of our granddaughters.

We run our business from home but live on the water in St. Augustine, Florida and don't have enough yard to play frisbee, so we used to take her to the beach 4 or 5 times a week and give her a good run while playing frisbee and ball with her. Amazingly she had even more energy after playing at the beach for hours!

It quickly became evident that Magic wanted to run the house and her incredible energy was becoming troublesome, she was always switched on!

We met Lawrence and Jodi at a county fair and saw their frisbee dogs and how happy those dogs were.

We called Lawrence and told him about Maggie Mae and said we are broken hearted but we need to find her a home on a farm or possibly with him since she is a natural jumper, loves frisbee more than food and learned to compensate from being born with crossed eyes and is excellent playing frisbee and ball.

Lawrence tested her and within 10 minutes he said he would adopt her and she would make a great addition to their team of champion frisbee dogs.

All of Lawrence and Jodi's dogs sleep with them and are cared for as good or better than we could. It was a match made in heaven for Maggie Mae, Lawrence and Jodi. We cried when we left her with them but as you can see, it was for the best for all involved.

Lawrence and Jodi also do border collie rescue and if you enjoyed this video and learning about Magic and the K9 Frisbee Team - Disc-Connected K9s, please visit their website and donate to their rescue efforts. http://www.k9frisbee.com
