How do you record along side the person without watching in front of you and slowing down? I've tried sitting down and being behind the person longboarding, but the video doesn't look as nice.

What editing software do you use?

Usually arrange most of the clips and cut everything together in Premiere Pro, then to After Effects for titles, color correction, effects etc.
This video was all done in After Effects due to all of the time manipulation.
