We meet Peter, Liam, Donal, Brendan, a confessional falling from the sky--and also one of the best theme songs ever written.
Aside: this is exactly the weather Avoca was having the day my husband and I got to visit. A good morning. :)

  • I really liked this series a lot... but I have to say it stopped being a lot of fun after Season 3. It just started feeling too sad... too much change and depressing stuff for me to really enjoy it. Monarch of The Glen did the same kind of thing too after Season 4 or 5. A show just doesn't feel the same after heavy events, deaths of beloved characters, break ups and so on. I much prefer the early episodes of both shows.

  • My father Martin Doyle is in the opening credits, he's buying sheep in the old Aughrim mart! ages ago now!! r.i.p

  • @sweetamyleigh Really. That is cool. I've only seen like a few episodes, but enjoyed them. It would be fun to see the Irish countryside.

  • Is Ballykissangel a real town/village in Ireland? I'm from America. I enjoyed the show myself when it aired here.
