Porsche 918 Spyder, Toyota Mr2 Spyder, Audi Spyder and the and the Lotus Seven, Lotus Elsie,Telsa are all cars that utilize advanced engineering that embrace light weight materials, monocoques construcion techniques, some adopting the use of carbon fiber, mid engine design and have tremendous handling and acceleration due to their weight to power ratio.
I admire the design, their solitary commitment to the driving experience and there frugal use of precious fuel. As green as a car can be and still offer a lot of fun.
this video highlights the Tesla construction and its amazing Speed; 125 mph (201 km/h)
221 miles (356 km) range without charging
Full-charge time: 3½ hours.!!!!
Estimated life: over 100,000 miles (160,000 km). (worst case scenario many batterys have shown to triple there battery life)
less than $0.01/mile approximatly
so for a rough equation of how much money your saving.
what would cost a 90$ in gas would cost 1 quarter in electricity!
and for an electric car 0 to 60 in 5 seconds is pretty damn amazing.
0 emmisions = priceless
Interesting video, but I do hate such misleading BS titles.

Title for the video is wrong.

I don't want to burst your bubble but this is not the quickest to 0-60, it's very quick but there are a few production cars that are quicker and loads of dragsters. Look up White Zombie electric car, 0-60 is 1.8 seconds and that is not the quickest in the world. Also your figures are wrong, the Tesla does 0-60 in 3.7 seconds.

Not even close to the fastest 0-60.

True that charging this car would likely create emissions somewhere but unlike petrol, diesel and gas vehicles, it at least is designed as a zero emissions car. We just need to start generating zero emissions electricity.

The car may have no emissions but as it charges from electricity and electricity comes from power stations (mostly) it kind of creates emissions. One thing that make me curious is the charge time and maximum distance it can achieve, I know battery technology has come along leaps and bounds.
