Yeah I know. Well I bought mine pre owned so I don't know it's past. It's in a pristine state, no scratch, you could believe it's brand new. But as I said, this little play in the platter hole, and so the little wobble is far less important than the natural wobble you got with any disc...

  • @SiriusXAim when you see the platter in this video wobble is beceause im putting one hell of a load of pressure on the vinyl, proper slamming ti down like,500 time ahrder than you would cueing a record.

  • @SiriusXAim the only time ive seen somthing like that is with a broken underplate opn the spindle and when the magnet on the platter is loost / chippedtake the platter off and see if the spindle is able to wiggle side to side, on mine it wont budge other than rotating, no play atall.

  • @TrowbridgeHardcore Well I can see this wobble when the turntable turns. So it's not when I hold the platter. It's hard to see tough, you got to play a lot of attention, leveling your eyes at the height of the platter... It's less than 1mm...

When I hold the platter, I can feel a sightly play around the platter hole. But for sure it doest come from the spindle...

  • @SiriusXAim if tour on about the plater being able to move around 2 mil up or down when you hold it then thats normal, ive got three of these things they all do it, if not care to explane in more detail?

  • @TrowbridgeHardcore

I'm a radio DJ so I don't scratch like hell. I just cue the records, and hold it while the platter is moving so it starts instantly...

My platter slows down by 3 % max

I've discovered that, my plates has a very slightly wobble effect. Less than 1mm it comes from the platter hole. Very hard to see, (but I can see everything) so I wont change the whole 120 bucks platter for this. Still, it pisses me off a bit.

Do you know how I can fix that ?

  • @SiriusXAim you must have the 1210.s, these are the 1200's, and if you have that shitty behringer , gert rid of it as soon as you can, flog it return it whatever. had mine neerly 2 years and 2 faders have worn out, the cue pot is crackely as hell, the channels bleed a,llot of noise and half the time the vu meters either fuck up or dont come on atall, the fx knob is also fucked lol i got mine cheap so its not that bad for me but it really is a hunk of shit, like everything behringer makes

  • @SiriusXAim ah lol dont worry about that, when i moved up to these from a set of belt drives i was so used to having to force the vinyl foward that i was unbelieveably heavy handed, when i was cueing records i was moving the platter abck and forth i really was pressing stupidly ahrd, today im still a bit heavy handed but its much better, asfr the slowing down in this vid, the techys ahve a 1.6kg torque motor which isint the strongest but is enough, i would say it only slows by 10-20ish %
