For nearly a year, brothers Kaleb and Alex Amaya have been growing up in the Spokane Valley away from their parents who are deployed in Iraq. As KXLY4's Erik Loney reports, on Wednesday they were greeted by a familiar face.

  • I love how this video has nothing to do with homosexuality and the catholic church, but some asshole is preaching his homophobic views in the comments anyway >.>

  • WHAT DOES THIS VIDEO HAVE TO DO WITH HOMOSEXUALITY?????????????????????????????? Its about a father coming home from war to see his kids. Why are we arguing about being gay or not on this video?

  • @WHHS2001 Yes, there are children who are losing their parents and yes they would rather have them here...and that goes for anyone who has lossed a loved one overseas but at least they will know they were a part of something great and would feel just as hurt of someone saying they didn't support their parent, brother, sister, husband, wife, son or daughter. Just be grateful someone is doing it for YOU!!!

  • @kornkidd97 Well tell that to the kids who lose their parents over there. You only get one mother and one father! Yes they will be proud of ther parents but they will rather have their parent with them and not dead!

  • @WHHS2001 "If you have any kids than dont join the army"??? what kind of crap is that...my husband is a veteran and I am VERY PROUD OF HIM! and I'm sure any if not every child is proud of their parent (whoever it may be, father or mother) that is serving in the Armed Forces. We didn't have our daughter till late last year and he was already out of the Army by '05 but I know that I would still be proud if we had our daughter if he was till serving. So I'm offended by you saying "it's wrong"....

  • This is amazing... really heart-warming. I can't imagine what they are going through. Thank you and your wife for your services. Mayyou both reunite as a family soon.

  • Dads is as happy to see his boys as they are to see him...Such love in the family.

  • I'm proud of what these people do for us! But I think its wrong that they go and fight, knowing that they could die at any moment over there and leave their kids wthout a mother or a father. That part is wrong. If you have any kids than dont join the army. But If you dont have any than by all means go ahead its your choice!

  • @blindkillz13 Idk if you know, but they are called trolls

  • @padrak18 its called invitro fertilization... duh.

  • @ 0:25 is this the simpson's reality series?
