Updating my Macbook Pro 15" late 2010 model to 8gb of ram from the standard 4gb. Never done this before so just wanted to show how easy it is to replace the RAM. It will not break your warranty so don't be afraid 'give it a go'. Forgive me for not having a camera stand.

  • thanks for the vid. did you notice a big difference in speed? I use photoshop, bridge, and lightroom often at the same time. I'm hoping for a noticable difference going from 4GB to 8GB. Thanks!

  • @jruhm I did notice a slight increase in speed but the biggest difference was with opening multiple applications as theres a lot more ram to share between them, this is where you notice the biggest difference. As you said you use photoshop & others some of these programmes use a lot of ram so this is where you will see a benefit. Hope this helps.
