  • ok, now really, what have you accomplished here? is the world any better off? have you fed someone who is hungry? have you educated yourself in mathematics? do you know the exact physics behind card ripping (torque, angular momentum and such)? get a job

  • it's my favourite style

  • I've tried this way also ... no cigar ... I'm a wuss too

  • @mrinderle You're definitely no wuss Rindo!

  • Thanks John I will try to implement your technique to help me tear better

  • Great video, John. Really captures the technique well.

Guys, try shifting the fingers around on the cards. Sometimes it's just a matter of figuring out how to get the cards to start the split. The flesh on the first joint of the finger may be too sensitive to put the pressure required into the cards. Maybe the callus line will work better for you?

  • Nice video John. I guess I'm going to have to start tearing cards again after watching videos by you, Jason, and Jedd.

  • Awesome video John! I thought I was doing my choke and peel similar to what you do and was trying to figure it out from Jedd's book and this confirms it. I end up doing most of the work cranking with my "choke" hand as well. Great tutorial!

  • Tried it but no dice. I'm a wussy!
