I have got a question about your gopro hero2,

Why does your videos don't have this fisheye optic.

I have a go pro too, but in my videos everything near looks bad.

It's a wide angle camera, isnt it ?

How you make that looking normal ?

Please answer my question. Anybody !

You probably have your go pro set on fisheye mode (The most concaved of the selection) Try setting it to just a normal wide angle. It still picks up more, not as much as the fisheye, but not to much where it looks warped.

I filmed a few videos on my own channel with the Go Pro. First person videos.

I use the wide angle mode instead of the fisheye and it works much better.

and that is what freddiew is probably doing, using it as a wide angle not a fisheye.

he said that his gopro gets a wide show so it has all the shots in it. so the only way to fix your fisheye is to remove the lens cover but its not recomended

In most higher end video editing programs there is a setting that can take away the concave or "fisheye" effect. Or he is just using it set on wide angle, not extreme wide angle.

Freakin' awesome as always. For what its worth: DevGru, Delta and CIA SOG have Contour Roams hardwired to their FAST helmets with uplinks which they use during training and live action missions. If you incorporate this concept into your wardrobe and props in future shorts, you won't need to film different cuts with and without your GoPro helmet. Having said that, I'm not sure how the lens stacks up against the GoPro.
