The New Order revisited.
This is the First Strike Still Deadly version.
I don't have tabs. The solo I played is different from the original, I sorta wrote my own thing for it.
Please note: I pitched the MP3 half a step up, and recorded it in Eb. Didn't feel like re-tuning the guitars.
This video was shot and uploaded in Full HD resolution.
The camera I used was a Toshiba A40f I borrowed from a good friend (thanks John!).
The audio: Rhythms double tracked (aka recorded twice, one panned to the left, one to the right).
Guitars used:
Goldie Locks (white Schecter C-1 FR, customized by yours truly)
*DiMarzio Evolution Bridge
*DiMarzio Humbucker From Hell Neck
Schecter 2006 Avenger FR prototype.
*EMG85 bridge
*EMG81 neck
Gear used:
ENGL Sovereign E368 miced Off Axis with a Shure SM57.
Video edited with:
Adobe Premiere PRO CS3
And now Radiant Eclipse from Waking The Fallen. I did alot of video editing and some extra angles. I'm not a great video editor and I believe some parts aren't 100% sync with the audio. Sorry about that.
NOTE: The original song is in Drop C. I recorded it a half step higher (Drop C#, or Db, whichever you prefer :D) and pitched the song to C#.
I'm redoing alot of covers of songs I did in the past, but now with better video and audio quality. Stay tuned for more!
RIP The Rev.

how does the evo react to your picking do you think the mahogany thickens up the sound a bit?

@geicowithdagheko1 The evo is quite sensitive to your picking, and much more dynamic than you would expect from a high output pickup. The mahogany makes it warmer.
