Below I've noticed the text (in latin) belonging to the seven parts of Soriano's "Motetula" (=little motet).

This motet refers to Holy Thursday during the Holy Week before Eastern. In original it has to be sung in latin with the corresponding texts from the bible. This performance is played on 6 to 7 recorders. There is no organ playing! Perhaps you might think that it is used as a continuo instrument. If you want to hear the full sound you should use earphones instead of the loudspeakers driven by the soundcard of your PC. Thanks for listening.

Mt 26,38:

Lk 22,42:
Pater, si vis transfer calicem istum a me verumtamen non mea voluntas sed tua fiat.

Mt 26,46:
Quid dormitis? Surgite orate ne intretis in temptationem.

Mt 27,19:

Lk 23,34:

  • A lovely performance. I liked Nihil tibi so much that I arranged it for guitar and ukulele.
