The host is Manu Katché, french drummer who played with some quite famous artists (Peter Gabriel, Sting etc). Not quite my favorite guy, but a serious drummer, yep.

This show was his idea, on German-French channel "Arte", it lasted a few years but it stops at the end of this year.

The girl at 0:40 is the german TV show Alice Tumler, a german girl speaking currently German, French and English (that's all ?). Quite a girl, right.

btw, my favorite song of Supergrass. RIP
