@MissLingLing1087 It really depends on age and circumstances, the quality of defense, and varying state laws. However, chances are high that you would be waived to the adult criminal justice system and therefore be sentenced to adult prison.

@MissLingLing1087 You could do some research online and learn more. Or contact the Campaign For Youth Justice. They have a ton of information and statistics about this issue. And yes, it can happen in Illinois. Just depends on the case.

Their juvi is like heaven compared to ours.Ours didn't have A/C,the cells were bars so you couldn't even sleep with all the people talking,there were many mosquitos ,the food sucked ,and there were a shitload of fights everyday.But here its called DYA or Department of Youth Affairs.
