So awesome to see clicker training in action, especially with cats!

Really useful if you happen to live in one of those houses where all your light switches are on tables.

The next step would be to move the lightswitch around until the cat is pressing it where-ever it is, and then gradually moving it up onto the wall until he is pressing it there, too. Eventually you move the fake one next to the real one and reward the cat for pressing either, and then eventually remove the fake one completely. Voila, lightswitching cat.

Is this could work with all cats ? I'm concerned because mine is quite stupid, he don't even recognise his own tail sometimes...

the clicking noise was made by a tool called a clicker (original name, right?) the sound tells the cat that he has done something good. when he hears the clicker he gets food. clickers are more often used with dog training though. X3

With cats it's always a question of who's training who ; )
For anyone interested in the subject, cat-lover
Paul Brough has written a great little ebook, which will give you more than a whisker of knowledge.
Well, it made me purr anyway.

I planned to make some electric cat doors that could be operated with the switch.
