It's called a megaphone. A bullhorn is an amplified megaphone like the cops use.

albertsystem: the idea of having a rock singer perform with the PHJB is to: a) show his respect and love for the traditional New Orleans sound, and b) bring thousands and thousands of new eyes and ears to a band/culture/artform that they otherwise would NEVER experience.
