I want to learn from him.
where he leads a masterclass?

@peymaania Ancient Music probably means any music written before Hayden, Mozart and the lot.
I don't know really, not an expert on the subject. But, we all agree here that A.Scarlatti is one of the great masters.

@shnimmuc thats very relative.

60 million seconds later, and this is still one of the most amazing compositions and performances of same, I have ever heard, and predict at 45 years, that i may ever hear. This is a true nexus of artistic genius.

GAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! TTHIS IS SO HARD TO PLAY!!!!!!!!!! AND I HAVE ONE WEEK TO LEARN IT!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing playing though!

A far more interesting composer then Vivaldi

My God in heaven i love this music!!!

La santissima trinita i previously said it intruduced me to opera..
I was wrong. La santissima is not opera, it is truly its own sub-genre. Regardless of classification- Biondi's recording of the best italian composer, with the best italian singers, accompanied by the best italian (or other) ensemble playing the best italian instuments. stirs the heart and soul like no other event in life itself! Invernizzi's arias, though prosaic, are luminous!! it will make you cry, soul or not.

His direction/performance of La Santissima Trinitá is even better.

para ako nasa langit nito .
Italian classics. Scarlatti. da Vinci. Amati. Ferrari. Biondi.
Si, Fabio Biondi. avec Europa galante hath ressurected Allesandro and Dominico (yes, i know the difference) Scarlatti from the ignace of history.
This is a great movement, but get _Scarlatti, concerti et Sinfonia_ listen to tracks 31, 33, and 34. Short, gamma ray bursts of pure brilliance on the part of the composer, (Scarlatti) the performer (biondi) and the luthier (Paulo testore). These songs will christen my Ferrari.

Biond, i believe is one of the best performers of ancient music especially Vivaldi and Scarlatti. One of my favourites. In this video the strings are very sharp and responsive
