Karunanidhi says present govt is helping the Tamils-02.07.2009 -ITN News Sri Lanka

Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanidhi has stressed that the politicians in his state should not in any way undermine the service rendered by the present Sri Lankan government for the Tamil people.
The Sri Lankan government is playing a major role in the welfare of the Tamil people. The government has initiated various programmes to uplift their lives. In such a situation, he said the politicians should refrain from making statements or taking any action that would in any way disturb the Sinhalese people or the Sri Lankan government. Karunanidhi has pointed out that it is the present Sri Lankan government that can do justice to the Tamil people of Sri Lanka.
