  • The guy who wrote that letter deserves an award

  • ..hurt innocent people than any other decent person. Are some minor attracted adults (paedophiles) less stable than me or straight up worse people? OF COURSE. To hate all of us helps noone because if we don't think we can seek help from society if we need it, we won't seek help - and yes that puts children at *more* risk.

If I knew I wouldn't be allowed near my family whom I love, do you think I'd seek help if I needed it? Hating me serves only *you*, not children.

  • @Silvoleon Say again??

  • @BlankVellum change is not an event, it is a process

  • @chickenmonger123 I also happen to be both of those groups and I'm getting rather tired that we are largely overlooked. I was also raised to follow one's instincts, not what was shoved down my throat growing up. When one merely repeats what they hear one is not an individual but a puppet and a sheep, hardly anyone in my family is part of either group.

  • @chickenmonger123 You left a couple out that are as major if not more so than any other religion besides buddhism. They are paganism and polytheistic religions such as native americans

  • @downwithbreeders Thirdly you are ASSuming that I think women should stay at home and not work and all that other garbage. Lastly separation of church and state is merely an idea that cannot come to fruition, due to an innate bias towards your own beliefs as long as humans are in charge.

  • @downwithbreeders okay, you are making this really easy to answer. Firstly, a traditional marriage in the context I was speaking about was not strictly protestant but also catholic, Hindu, Jewish, or any other established and federally recognized form of union. Secondly your my or any other opinions on what traditional roles are taken up in a marriage is completely irrelevant to the the opinion I was stating.

  • @chickenmonger123 You mean marriage which is viewed as normal, not 'traditional'. A 'traditional marriage' is that of a happy family, not a protestant opinion on what is viewed as traditional. If you wish to speak of your 'Traditional Marriage' then why are you not talking about women staying home and rearing children or only speaking when spoken to? Tradition has nothing to do with this only your opinion. What happened to seperation of church and state? I guess it's in the garbage now, huh?

  • @UncontestedTruth Mostly the contradictions in the bible are do to context, (who its addressed to) but even more can be found in translation, and yet more we don't know what they mean. so in accordance with the scripture we take the unclear in light of the clear. or at least that's my approach.

  • @jennadancer7 ... according to my religion its not supposed to be right for a man and a man ( vice versa ) to be together, but this is America where I don't tell you what religion to be apart of neither you, me. As such you have every right to be married in accordance with your beliefs, and to the same legal status as traditional marriages.
