The mechanical part consists of 2 axes. Pan axis is controlled by microcontroller PIC16F877A with PID algorithm inside. Tilt axis position is controlled by servo motor, FUTABA S3001. The camera is a webcam, Logitech QuickCam. Image processing program was written in C++ language with intel's openCV library. There are also 2 PI(proportion + integral) controllers inside the computer program. The communaction between microcontrollers and computer proram is provided via serial port of computer.

  • Doing this in 3D is all what we need... The sampling frequency and rate also pattern calculation is mainly the biggest achievement. I can see that you have homogeneity matrix with respect to image frame. but i can not calculate the GSD with the output image. Does it physically exists?

  • cool :)

the code is written with using the opencv library..

  • where exactly did you get the source code? intel library? couldn't find it...

  • how did you get started with this kind of thing?s
