  • They are better than the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame- Clearly they have always

BEEN IN A CLASS BY THEMSELVES

  • This band has been ignored by the rock media from the beginning because they are firstly outstanding Composers. Their songs have fantastic musical structures with regard to melody, harmony, form etc... Further, their lyrics always deal with life's most poignant questions. In a sense, they are poet composers acting in the role of Rock artists. It is natural that the mere mortals of the rock corporate cartels should resent their superior capabilities

  • drummer Greame Edge using a double bass kit?!, last time I saw The Moodies he was using a single bass drum set up.

  • Not a gray hair on the stage?

  • Love the song, but the quality of the video is off a bit...Thanks anyway...love the song!

  • @stonedpimpdaddy

You need to rethink that one. The Moody Blues were around long before ELO. If anything, ELO sounds like the Moody Blues.

  • @MysteryoftheGods I agree. As they got older they didn't sound nearly this good live. I think more that the video is real, but that the music and cheers in the background were dubbed in for youtube.

  • Lipsynching at its best. If the wires were pulled from the speakers you would hear silence because they aren't playing, haha.

  • @stonedpimpdaddy Becase Justin Hayward's voice sounds like Jeff Lynn, the Lead Singer of ELO, listen to the Moodys Song, Gemini Dream, they really sound Like ELO. Voices are very similar indeed:)

  • @bryjag1965 In an interview John and Justin said the reason they wrote this song was because they didn't know the reason we exist. Because their songs ask a lot of question, fans thought they knew the answers. This song was to tell everyone, "No, we're just singers in a rock and roll band. We don't know the reasons any more than anybody else." Great group. I have everything from 45's all the up to DVD's. I'm a long time fan.

  • why do they somehow remind me of ELO?

  • Denny Laine must have been good for Paul Mccartney to have him in Wings.
