I've known Heath for over twenty-five years and I can see from the trailer that this script is very loyal to his genuine life experiences - just because it's a comedy, doesn't make it a farce!

If your experience as a member of the "community" is more "The Piano" or "Silkwood" than Mr. Daniels', I respectfully suggest that you redirect the hostility you're spewing here into writing your own screenplay reflecting that particular point of view.

I'm wondering when the gay community will begin producing films and motion picture work that is a better representation of the vast majority of the community who have little interest in perpetuating clownish stereotypes and superficial standards of "beauty" and "youth," such as this? It would be nice to see some high-quality, affirming storytelling and features that more than 2% of the population (yes, including the GLBTQ population) could actually relate to and benefit, from. This is a farce.
