I couldn't tell you,but i know KDFW had a new meteorologist named Waine Shanook in 1980. Also,Gary is deceased according to Clarice Tensley.

@MikeTeaveeJr Yes. He then moved to WOOD radio and went up against Andy Rent and Dennis Sutton at WCUZ. After a time, he returned to TV in the Detroit market

Gary Bazner preceded Wayne Shattuck at KDFW in 1978, and he only did the 10 pm weather, with Warren Culbertson still doing the 5 and 6 pm reports. Shattuck would arrive at the station in '81.
