Did any of you have that one movie, that defined you? That despite everything, you knew it was there if you needed it? That regardless of how terrible your day has been, just popping it into you televison, and hearing Max Casella start in on the beginning everything went away? And all that mattered were the Newsies and the strike, and that you felt a part of it because the actors were so amazing that if you added Trey Parker on Facebook or Myspace, he'd accept you, if you emailed Gabriel Damon, he emailed you back?
That is what is so amazing to me about Newsies, it helped me through good times and bad, a rather big part of me is in this movie, and I cherish each of the characters, and love each of the actors, I follow all of them through their careers and it makes me happy to know...I knew them when they were known as Jack Kelly, Kid Blink, Racetrack, Spot Conlon, David Jacobs, and Mush.
So here's a small tribute to it. I tried to play with showing then and now pictures but got a bit lazy as I tend to do, so I fillered with random scenes and behind the scenes stuff I found through google
I'm proud of it though.
I don't own nuttin, I got all the pictures off of Google
The music is Always Know Where You Are lead singer of The Goo Goo Dolls I believe.
