  • though i would not recommend plugging a power strip into a power strip but its your choice. a power strip should always be plugged into the wall directly. and also a extension cord should never be used for perminant wiring. like you should never plug something into an extension cord and then into the wall.

I have a friend who does electrical/construction for a living. I asked him the best way to do this. We talked about running full on power/outlets and everything, but he suggested this. I asked him if there were any safety issues. There are not. it's no different than running an extension cord in any other situation.

Running a power strip from a power strip is not dangerous. But after this video was shot, I removed the superfluous power strip as I didn't need it

  • @L1Games yeah man it might just be difference between canada and the united states for that. But then again how often do building inspectors enter your house anyways lol its not that its unsafe just in canada its not to code. Anyways man im jealous of your selector. I have the retro mad catz one from back in the day. Mine has 4 inputs but i have to switch a button to change consoles. the game room looks sick btw im going to use the conduits similar to what you did good job man

  • @HospitalWaste

You could catch one (Selector) like mine for about $35. you could order it off radio shack's website if you don't have a store local to you:)

  • @L1Games I have 16 consoles and I am looking for something like that stand for your consoles (btw nice Sears Video Arcade and orange n64). Have you seen something like that with that many spaces?

Nice game room- I'm pretty jelly

  • @naptimewithturtles2

I have not. but you could do multiple selectors to multiple inputs:)

Mine seems OK so far. I had a 6gb brick on me a while back. this is the 80gb backwards compatible model. I wont own a PS3 if it doesn't play my PSs2 games:)

  • glad to see im not alone on having multiple consoles hooked up at once, nothing like going from ps3 to snes, and seeing were i started gaming lol

  • @L1Games It's not that, the entertainment stand. I already have the auto av selector.
