Prinz of Vienna Patisserie was established in July 2000 by husband and wife team Michael and Margie Prinz. After spending a combined total of over 40 years in the hospitality industry it was time for Michael & Margie to showcase their skills to the public in Perth, Western Australia.

When the store first opened in Attadale on September 1st 2000 a brand new concept baker/patisserie was born. For the first time customers could sit down and watch the preparation of their favourite cake or pastry while enjoying a coffee and eating a freshly prepared slice of cake.

Soon their hand crafted Austrian Breads, their Viennese Cakes and Pastries were on everyone's lips. They continuously surprised their clients with a never ending stream of new products, whether it was breads, tarts, cookies or chocolates. This trend still continues today, from those humble beginnings in Moreing Road a new first class product has emerged.

In May 2009, Michael & Margie took the opportunity to expand their business into a much larger and more sophisticated operation. Today they have separated the production from the retail store, even though the clients can still observe how some of their favourite treats are being prepared. No expense was spared to give the new cafe a classy, warm but yet friendly ambience that will suit just about any mood.

Today the product range at Prinz of Vienna has been expanded even further and now includes artisan Italian Ice Cream, Sandwiches , Pies, Pasties, Sausage Rolls and cooked breakfast served daily from 7am until 11 am.
