Oh yeah I'm lovin this here cruisin down Woodward headin downtown on a beautiful saturday evening or around Belle Isle viewing the Detroit skyline off the river this playin in the background oooooooowwweeeee!!! We had it all back then... Thanks much and love that logo!!

Im in minneapolis now i left Detroit in 97...and just this past summer i saw an older white dude wearing a WJZZ tee shirt i was like WHERE THE HELL DID HE GET THAT FROM lol... one of he best jazz stations EVER

FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT THIS ARTIST YOU DON'T FUNK OR JAZZ THIS WAS ONE OF THOSE GUYS YOU WOULD NEVER GET TIRE OF LISTENING TO HIGH OR SOBER DONALD AND THE BLACK BYRDS ALWAYS JAMMING BUT AS ALWAYS VERY LITTLE RADIO PLAY UNLESS YOU WERE OVER SEA OR IN THE UK.

Outstanding WJZZ was the best JAZZ station. Detroit bring it back we miss it so much.. I remember riding in my car in the D groving to WJZZ back in the days feeling I could drive all night listening 105.9. Keep groving Detroit

Thank you so much for showing WJZZ some love. I have missed them every since September of 96 when they went off the air. That was a real jazz station. I never like v 98.7 one bit. Now they are off the air. Thank you. Do you have Ronnie Laws, "As One"?

Wow and i thought i was one of the few,,I sorely miss WJZZ hence my revival of its wonderful logo that went along with the soundtrack of my youth,,,I have spawned a few imitators and its all good but i love my setup,,i keep in touch with Rosetta Hines and she is busy trying to launch a webstation,as far as V98 is concerned good riddance,,,,,it was rare that they approached my standards and left me sick to my stomach when they played everything else but Jazz, all i have left now is public radio
