Sang Lee Open 2008: Torbjorn Blomdahl vs Ira Lee pt1

I was fortunate to advance past the preliminary round robin in the 2008 Sang Lee International Open and have the opportunity to compete against one of my 3-cushion player-idols, the legendary Torbjorn Blomdahl of Sweden. This was the second time for me to encounter him in a tournament competition but the first time on a filmed match (CaromTV.com web TV table). I came out of the gate fairly strong as Blomdahl struggled slightly during his first few innings... rare moments in billiard history.

For reasons of pure self-interest, I only post the first part of the match ;)

Little did I know that my two player friends Jan Carl and Min Jae Pak were teasing me from the commentators box the whole time - thankfully, from a soundproof booth.
