@rubien44 She was bullied in highschool, but it has nothing to do with her looks(altough they picked on that as well, intensly). It had to do with her personality, she didn't quite fit in anywhere. Once she got older and went out into the world(18-19-when this was filmed) she exploded and became more confident. Also, please, don't have the never to tell us Madonna got attention for being herself or her 'talent', I love her but exploding tit bras and nude books were not just for the sake of pop.

i do not think she was bullied in highschool. she looks like she blends in well with her looks. Well i can assure anyone...to be an artist either you have the look and talent or you have the talent but reinvent yourself to get notice. In this case---she has the talent and ofcourse she has to get your attention. SO THE COSTUMES begins...:) She did get your attention. But MADONNA is a true artist- She has the look and talent to be liked as her.
