Prevent Medicare Payment Cuts and Preserve Access to Care

American Osteopathic Association President Larry A. Wickless, DO, discusses the Medicare program and the impending 21.2% cut to physician payments that will occur on March 1, 2010, if Congress does not take action. Dr. Wickless calls on all members of the osteopathic family and patients to join an advocacy campaign to preserve access to care for our nation's seniors and military families by preventing the cut to payments and enacting long-term and meaningful reforms to the Medicare payment fomula.
