an ace ventura 3 film without jim? pfft-that would be stupid--they would get farther by not using the name of ace ventura and just writing a similar story that has nothing to do with it at all.
every film has to win the audience over but at least then people wont be automaticly comparing it to one of the greatest established comedy films and comedians ever

The Mask, Dumb and Dumber and Ace Ventura are my 3 all time fave films and films with Jim Carrey. They are the first Jim Carrey films that I ever saw when i fell in love with him way back when i was about 6.
The sequels and prequels to these films without Jim Carrey are not worth watching to me. They are completely pointless in my opinion. Jim Carrey does need to at least do Ace 3. It wud b brill to see that character again.

even though its going ahead and it out next year , it wont be a true ace ventura film.
personally i want them to scrap the whole idea and do a re-write and then put jim in the film , Screw the son idea ...its bull
